the station is of ok size, especially compared to other stations along the line, probably because its one of the two ends. its important because its the nearest metro station to the airport. however there is still a distance of about 2~3km. i used to walk from the airport to this station and walk from the station to the airport. just follow the google map route, its completely walkable, just need some bravery... but its really an experience to do this kind of adventure, especially in a foreign country (very different culture). the bazaar downstairs is also quite exotic (i bet its new to most westerners first visit this kind of market)

Street stalls are here. Heavy passenger traffic can be observed. You can buy traveling bags and luggages at bargain price. Shoes are also at cheap prices. But aware of thieves.

It's like many stations, small but clean, and the mrt stops all the time here Going to things downtown like the SMmanila, you'll want to use this.. cost me ₱20 each way. A taxi would be at least 10 Times that

Better than MRT. The station itself is clean and orderly, unlike your way going up which is full vendors and passersby.

It is a bazaar in a not so secure place in Manila, where street crimes may come and go like a thief in the night. Extreme caution is desired especially to foreigners.

Well, I guess nobody expects a fancy and clean place when he goes to Baclaran. Yes there are many many cheap things here and you can buy almost everything you need. But the area is super dirty and relatively unsafe, so you should expect the worst. Definitely you should take care of your stuff, particularly if you are a foreigner.

The southern terminus of LRT-1, much better than MRT-3 nearby. Speaking of MRT-3, you could take a long walk going to it than riding LRT Baclaran-EDSA station. Overall surrounding is good, connected to malls, but 3 stars means you'll see beggars, garbage, and illegal vendors when departing/arriving at the station
